Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor throughout his career. Most famously, he is famous for his roles was in "Law and Ordinance Special Victims Unit". Meloni discovered his passion for acting in his early days at college and studied acting in The University of Colorado at Boulder. While he has appeared in movies and in television shows however, it's his character actors on smaller screens which have earned him acclaim. His ability to play characters in both legal and non-legal settings is what has caught the attention of the public. He played the part of a serial murderer in the first TV series he appeared in and then went on to take on the role of an NYPD detective. His small-screen performances have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. One of his most striking facial features is said to be his striking blue eyes. They are believed to be his trademark. They help in portraying tough characters that have charisma. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
