She was brought up with two brothers and one sibling. Her first language was Hungarian, and she regularly learned the language in order to be proficient. Bruckner was an Hollywood California native born to a Hungarian and a Russian father, who separated from their mother earlier in life and was raised by an German maternal grandparent. The couple came together in Hungary and relocated into the U.S. in 1984 through an asylum camp in Italy. Her siblings are two sisters and a brother.
